Bought a 73 GMC sequoia, all is good, except the carb bowl and fuel line is missing from the 4K Onan generator . Bought a replacement carb, Chinese,
and there are 2 wires coming out of the bowel. Figuring the black one is ground, but not sure what the power wire hooks up to. Any ideas? Thanx in
advance

It is probably a solenoid to shut off the fuel inside the carb when the engine shuts down to prevent raw gas from getting pulled into the exhaust and
causing an explosion in the muffler. The red wire would have to be connected to a switched 12vdc. In other words loses the 12 volts when the engine
shuts down. Black wire would ground to the engine. You don't have to connect them up. The engine still will run.

I'm curious, is this a truly a form, fit, and function replacement carb? The GMCers would like the name of the manufacturer, model and/or the part
number.

Welcome to the group. Sure would like your name and location in case you ever need help.
