Hello all. Just had this delivered today, paid $1500, overall really good shape. Motor locked up, but ran when parked 10 years ago. I do believe it will free up with a little marvel mystery oil in the cylinders for a week or so. Had a $21,000 refurb done in 1993 and a 8k paint job in 2006. Should be an easy project.

Ken,
There is a section over on the one of the tech sections called something like "waking the sleeping giant".
But after the marvel oil has had a good long soak in the bores, arrange to put a wrench on the damper bolt and pull the engine though TWO FULL turns. If you feel it hang up - STOP. If you try to continue, it will most likely start to get expensive.

Motor shouldn't be locked up after only 10 years.

Todd,
This is very true, but we don't know the true condition of anything there. It may be that the starter is bad or some part of the FEAD is hung up. (Or a squirrel left wall nuts in the bell housing - True Story)
