Don't remember - but the first time you take one off and have to lift it back on, you'll be looking for alumnum ones.

What Johnny B is saying is that the steel wheels are stamped and there are
run out that show up once the unit is set up.
We get more complements from people when they mount the tires on a machined
wheel.

Yes I know I use to do simi wheels and tires. With the cost of alumnum
wheel they are just not in my budget plus the color scheme we are planing I
can have them painted to match

You may want to try doing a Google search for "gmcnet archive", then
search there for the thread you saw earlier. That's a wonderful resource.

Make sure the hub bore is the proper diameter.
Trial fit the front for clearance for the caliper.
The rear is ok as long as the bore is ok.

When I first got my coach, I searched for 7 good radial rated steel 16"
wheels that had the correct offset for the GMC. Out of 25 or so wheels that
i found, i managed to sort out 7 that were straight, rust free, and turned
true on a balancer machine. After investing in media blasting, and powder
coating, replacing the valve stems, and finding trim rings and lug nuts,
hub covers, then making spacers for the front end to clear the brake
calipers, I think that I might have saved $50.00 total over Eagles or
Alcoas.
The Alloy wheels are precision machined and true. When you have a
premium set of tires mounted and properly balanced on them, the dishes in
your cupboards no longer rattle down the road.
But, the money you spend is yours. Spend it wisely, grasshopper.
