hot water tank

Good day my Fellow GMC'rs! I have a leaking draincock on my tank what will not close off completely, I am considering installing a new system primarily either inside where the existing tank and connections are or behind my 3 way fridge as I have an access panel and I can see a reasonable amount...

I would like to install some valves to easily shut off the flow of coolant to the water heater in the back of the coach (similar to the valves we use to shut off flow to the heater core). Does anyone know off the top of their heads the diameters of those two hoses. I can take some calipers out...
