emergency brake

Hello I have inspected my emergency cable system asssembly, everything looks good but it is hard to enable, I was wondering if anyone has lubricated the system and found good results. Also is there an interchange part for the cables? Thank you Stewart

Newbie question of the day - is the emergency brake handle supposed to be difficult to pull up? I tried mine yesterday and had a heck of a time with it. I got a little concerned about forcing it and gave up. The pulley system is a newer stainless steel replacement. Do the springs just need...
