Someone posted these as an option:

If someone can concur this is the part common on our hood and rear exterior side hatches, that would help, but a more basic question without one in hand...does the little handle bar come off for installation? I have never had mine off, and seems like one side or other has to disassemble to go through hole.

Thanks

The t handle is pressed in and you could get it out, but the expected way to get it apart is to remove the D-Ring then it all comes apart. It's a bit difficult, but doable.

That MC M part looks close if it's the right size!

Those are Zinc Plated Steel. My coach sits outside 24/7--365. While they will resist corrosion, if out in the weather, they will in time rust. I would suggest trying to find some that are Stainless. When my coach was painted, the painter replaced them with SS Spring Cam Latches. No corrosion. Look as good as the day they were installed.

Thanks all...as Todd said, choices, sources and variations all in a few replies. Nice. Now if the project goes as well as the thread, one more little nuisance solved.
