So with the 77 we have, we have spent the time to remove and reseal all windows on the sides. Quite the process, learning experience, new channels and screens, cutting out the drain holes, sealing the frame to the body etc.
Except the cockpit windows. We didn't do those. It does not seem many people really talk about the leaks in those windows except for the sliders, which don't leak that much. It appears at least that they are not leaking so much from the slider portion, but between the window frame and the body. Water is pouring in, and now I realize of course how rotten the wood is under each window as ell, but that waits until I stop them from leaking.
Do most people just put sealant in there between the frame and the body? Or do you remove the whole frame, clean etc. and reinstall with new sealant. I have found only one detailed approach with pics on the web, and wondering what all of you have done.
