This is my first year with a macerator. Great addition!
I pumped the macerator mostly dry (I'm really not sure how long I pump when it spits water out every few seconds and sounds loud, do I let it go until
nothing comes out?)
I ran the pink stuff through the faucets, and poured it down the drains. 2 gallons in.
Then I ran the macerator again. Because it wasn't completely empty I got foamy pinkish brownish water out into my 5 gallon bucket. Is that enough
pink stuff to keep it from freezing? Should I really just keep pumping the macerator until nothing comes out for 10 seconds? I worry about
overheating or over running the motor
I can pour another gallon in and see what I get but I thought I'd ask here first
thanks for any suggestion
