Next up for major time suckage is buying new window and screen tracks and sealing all the windows.

First, which vendor do you all prefer to get these from? Coop? Golby? Sirium?

Second, any lessons learned that would be good? Any specific method or video that worked, or didn't?

Kevin,

It can't be all that bad or thousands of GMC owners would not have tended to this. The windows can be resealed to the coach skin and replacing the felt and rubber at the glass is a lot of tedious work but not all that difficult. You can order the felt parts from one of the parts suppliers.

So there are at least 5 different vendors that sell these parts and these particular items. Applied GMC, GMC Coop, Sirium, Golby and Gateway.

I used to sell parts, I know how it is, some have better quality that others, availability, better customer service, shipping costs dpeending on where you are, handling fees, etc. Everyone is going to have an opinion of course,.

But how much of each to do a full 26' coach with solid one piece kitchen and door glass? Each vendor says something different and some won't even make a recommendation, just tell me buy how much you need! There should be a standard answer.

One says says 56' small rubber, 35' large
One says 49 and 32.
One says 48 and 28.

Experience says? Anyone?

Sometimes the automatic shipping calculation from Applied can be out of whack, i.e. crazy expensive, particularly on small/lightweight parts. I have found that you can contact them about such issues and they'll work with you.
