Which ATF Again ? Is DEXRON 3, 4, 5 and 6 backward compatible?

I asked on FB about using mercon V because I am quarantined and i have six quarts. So that was a resounding "NO" so i am ordering ATF from Amazon.

So, is all DEXRON spec stuff backward compatible ?

Not ATF. Dex/merc is what I use in all older THMs. Valvoline gallons are available.

It's all good. i have discovered Curbside pickup at my local autozone. I will drag my COVID infected ass down there tomorrow and get the right stuff.

I was going to suggest the curb side pick up at Walmart. Just call in your order and they will deliver it to your car in the parking lot.
