What's the difference between the 23ft and 26ft frames?

Good info Bob - I did not know that - even tho we (our parting out Triad) will have one of each available for sale in the future!

I think the 26' coach has a longer rear overhang than the 23'. Don't have exact figures, but looking at the dimensional drawings it looks like about
a foot longer. Recall too that the 23' has smaller generator and propane compartments.

The 260 is 16” longer behind the wheels and 20” longer between the wheels.

So the the different rear dimension due to shorter frame rails behind the wheels, or, is the rear frame extension totally different between the 23 & 26?

The reason I ask is because I have two complete 26’ frames, and will eventually part out and sell what I don’t use.

The Parts Book indicates the same Rear Frame Extension part # for the 23 & 26.

The rear frame extension is the same. I used the rear sub-frame, body tub,
and body shell from a 260 to replace the damaged parts on my 230. The only
difference is the frame rails and one or two crossmember locations. See the
pictures on the photo site.

Thank you. I didn’t even think to look at the parts book. :(
