What gauges should one add?

I have the stock gauges and although they work, I and am planning on adding more gauges, and looking for suggestions.

I am also interested in seeing pics of your setup(s).

This is kind of an old school way of adding gauges. The gauge mounting is actually a custom made painted wood unit fastened to the underside of the dash. Pretty simple & subtle.!

Gauges can be nice. But also can stress a person out….

I like a analog coolant temp. Usually remove the christmas tree/tvs on the passenger side and install an analog sensor. Knowing precise temp is helpful. Especially since s stock one at 1/2
Mark means it is overheating …. A tranny temp gauge as well, with sensor in the pan.(doubles as a tranny drain plug too)

If you are running a carb, a vacuum gauge is nice to have. They can help show problems with the engine.

I really am not sure if you need others. The stock dash gauges cover other things.

They make plastic pods. I have just the tranny and water
Temp gauge mounted on the panel below steering wheel.

I like my DigiPanel. It monitors oil pressure, engine temperature, transmission temperature and both house and chassis battery voltage. I don't have to "read" the "Gauges", a quick glance and if all are lit green then all is Ok. Also has a visual and audible alarm for out of range readings to get your attention.

This link will take you to bdub,s site for a page about the DigiPanel
