Dogs, dogs, dogs. Also old cars/GMCs and electronics. Many years playing with high powered RF systems both as a FANG in Gods Great Air Farce and
with a handful of broadcast outfits. Showing dogs when I have a prospect and co-breeding occasionally for the last 25 years or so. I work the shows
as a Ring Steward to (hopefully) cover the gas cost for the GMC. Appro pos of which I'm gonna have to miss the Dixielanders' Noccalula rally because
we added the Greenville SC shows the same weekend. Me and the GMC will be happily ensconced at Table Rock State Park just North of Greenville 26 - 30
June.
Currently one Kuvasz boy and two Border Collie girls.

Amateur radio - Emergency operations - 'the last mile'. GMC was excellent during the aftermath of many hurricanes. None in the past 13 years or so.
Mobile 6 Kw makes lots of difference. Nice to have A/C and frig.

Obviously a good number of gmc owners are classic/collector car people. It is also amazing to see common interests and themes in the community.
As for my hobbies, I am father of an 9 and 10 year old and try to spend time with them in the gmc. Hobbies have changed alot in the past 10 years,
setting aside motor cycling(bmw and my old 71 honda 350)) and snowmobiling when the kids were born. I used to do some off roading and have owned
quite a few jeeps of every variet, and I was also going for my pilots liscense at some point, all of witch I hope to get back to at some point in
life. I even used to hold an amateur radio liscense, but forgot the radio stuff liong long ago.
Currently I have always been an avid water-sports parttaker, and currently own a 1984 mastercraft stars and stripes boat. I have had many air

I still work. I am a general contractor (residential and commercial construction) and my wife, Kathy, is an Occupational Therapist. But...we still
make GMCing a priority, and try to get out once a month for at least a weekend, with a couple of week to ten day trips per year. We are working
toward retirement in, hopefully, a few years. We are currently members of GMCMI, and GMCSJ, and have been members of GMCWS on occasion (probably will
rejoin after retirement).

over it), and--and this is why Jaws has no paint job--wristwatches. In the
past, I raced cars, raced bicycles in college (with total lack of success),
and pursued triathlon (and can provide photographic evidence for those who
look at me now and--with justification--refuse to believe it). I'm also
active at church, currently serving as treasurer.
I've been a member of GMCMI since 2003 or thereabouts, when we bought the
coach, GMCES once upon a time, and the Dixielanders for the last six or
seven years. I try very hard to make Bean Station each year, and any
International rally that is within a day's drive of northern Virginia.

Figured I might as well add to this growing list. I have been a licensed amateur radio operator since November 1953. My wife (since 1960) got her first ham license in 1963. I have been riding motorcycle since 1965 and my wife joined me in that activity in 1977 when friends taught her to ride when I was on a remote assignment at a radar site in Iceland. We lost our bikes in a tornado in 1999 but started up again in 2004. I bought her a 2007 Harley Dyna Low Rider in 2007 to go along with my 2000 Harley Screamin' Eagle Road Glide. We made the trip to Milwaukee and back in 2008 for the 105th H-D Anniversary Party. She had a stroke in 2013 and could no longer ride safely, so we bought a 2014 Harley trike. We are also into boating, but lost our big Carver cruiser in a collapse of our marina in an ice storm. I also like shooting and trains, full-size and model. I still haven't gotten my GMC MH working (engine bad) but we also have a 30 foot travel trailer.
How did I ever have time to go to work???

guys were really thinking about us second hand owners by including that beverage center...

I own a wood and metalworking company, so all things associated with that are my interests most of the time. CNC machining, robotics, and process
improvements mostly.
On the off time I'm a motorcycle guy more than a car guy (although I've had my share of those as well).
Current stable has been very slimmed down since the GMC purchase (no time for anything else!)
1978 SR500 That I've built from scratch everything but the engine.
2013 BMW F800GS daily rider and GMC "toad"
1992 DR250 Dirt Toy
2008 XT250 For the lady
About 6 bikes worth of cb360's that I'll get around to eventually.
I just like to build things, whether is be motorcycles, cars, GMC's or machines for my shop. Anything and everything that requires cutting and welding
I'm a fan of.
