Greetings All,

Hopefully I will be looking at a 73 26ft this weekend. Are there any years that
are better than others or did the design pretty much reamain the same until 78
(other than engine size)? Or does 5 years make no difference when your talking
about a 25 year old vehicle anyway?

Any particulars regarding 1973's?

Anybody have both a 23 and 26 footer? Any big difference in driving? Do most
people tow a car w/ 26 ft. or does it handle small enough to just use as a car
on long trips?

Thanks

Hi Eric,

I realize I am a little late but there are differences that while not
really significant should be noted.

On 1973 coaches there were may modifications made in production. Mostly
these changes were cosmetic involving different shape engine hatches,
drip rails, etc. The major things to consider, from my personal
preferences, are:

The improved engine air con flow in the 77 & 78 models and the 455 ci
engine in the 77-73 models. At the end of the day, any year and model GMC
is still better than anything else made then or since!

Happy Hunting.
