I am glad to know that you seem to know so much about eveything. This
is very helpful to us voodoo mechanics.
As to not using a trans pan gasket, this was told to me by Chuck
Stoddard at Caspro. Please call him at (216) 423 1335 to tell him what
you think about his thoughts on the subject. I'm sure he would enjoy
your thought on the subject.
Since I was only the messenger on this statement, please allow me to
live.
In the future I will be very hesitant to add any input to the GMCnet
thanks to your kind reply.

Please don't do that Jim.

Some things have to be "filtered" on an individual basis, i.e. to each his
own.

I for one prefer to have all the facts (even if just suggestions or "I think
I heard") before applying my very own "filter" and to make the filter work
it is very important to have as much information as possible. Please don't
let individual opinions keep you from voicing your own and that includes
passing on information second, third, fourth hand or whatever

And remember, it's a 2-way filter. Just remember that Stick 'n Stones can
easily be ignored inbound too.

BTW, I did try to get a definitave answer/recommendation from Ragusa when I
got my last pan. They very diplomatically avoided a direct answer but did
mention that Caspro does not use a gasket, and others did.

In keeping with the subject at hand, I plan to use chicken heads, blood of
newt and crushed reindeer antler to seal my Ragussa transmission pan.

Right on! One word of caution. The crushed reindeer antler may have an
unusual effect on your transmission's Libido leading to unforeseen
consequences.
