Vent cover for stove vent

Sounds like a Previous Owner really jury Rigged that vent. I have never seen a 3 inch vent on the roof of an RV.

Myself I would look at converting back to a sidewall vent and seal up the roof opening. I hate putting holes in the roof. Seems to invite water in.

After thinking about it for a bit you could install a refrigerator roof vent over the 3 inch pipe. Not my choice but it should work.

Our '78 Royale Center Kitchen has the 3" pipe thru the upper cabinet and one of the same roof vents that are on the bath vent stack. It's original and
works fine.
