This reminds me. These things were originally a government deal with General Motors to design a high speed, maneuverable troop carrier ( urban assult vehicle) back in the late 60's early 70's weren't they?

If this is not true... we have just witnessed the birth of a real urban
legend (I always wanted to see that). Maybe somebody should call Wes
Caughlan, and ask if this is true.
