upper and lower ball joints

I am in need of replacing my upper and lower ball joints from what I can
see.
I have read that car ball joints will work but have to be reimed out. Do I
ask
for 1973 toro upper and lower and then send the controll arm out to be
reimed or can
I do it. I do not have the tool or any mechine shop experince. I have put
ball joints
on a small truck but it was just rivetted on from factory and I bolted the
new ones one.

Remember Lamey says the top ball joints almost never have to be replaced,
and make sure the bottom need to be done. Lower arm failure is caused by
poor replacement of the lower ball joints. Read info on web page
