Greetings from the Central Coast of California. Gasoline prices are
soaring and will continue for several reasons! One of the most
important is that OPEC did not like having our prices drop to less than
$1.00 + per gallon. They voted to drop production last week to ensure
the cost per barrel went back up. The other is that there have been
several explosions in refineries in the past couple of days. Hang on to
you gas cans folks. The prices will probably continue to rise right on
through and beyond our summer months. We were at .89 for regular 87,
1.19 for 89, and 1.29 for super just a week ago. We are this am at 1.29
for 87, 1.39 for 89 and 1.59 for 92 octane respectfully. Chuck, 78
