Twin Bed Models

My '77 Kingsley (floor plan 26-12 on
snip........
26-12 floor plan is for the GMC Edgemonte which is the only twin rear bed
made by GM. Since your coach is a Kingsley, my guess is a prior owner
modified or ordered it special since Edgemonte's were only made in 1976.

Must have been a special order although I can't find anything in the
paperwork to indicate this. The coach is GMC interior, not an after-market
interior and it is a '77 with a 26-12 floorplan. How many Edgemonte's do you
have on the registry??? How many made???

132 Edgemontes produced as far as we know and there are presently 54 in
the Registry.

Dave,
There appears to be a card missing from the deck. As I read in the 1977 &
1978 MAINTENANCE MANUAL SUPPLEMENT X-7725 numerous references to model
ZE06584 which is the rear twin bed model '77 Kingsley that I have. Look at
page 1A-7, Figure 6 heading. Look at pages 24J-1 and following where rear
twin beds are mentioned. Look at page 24B-6 where there is a picture of the
bed in figure 6. Obviously there must have been rear twin models made in
1977-78 as standard offerings.

Gary, you are correct! Twin Bed model Edgemonts were also made only in
1976 and Twin Bed model Kingsleys and possibly others were only made in
1977.
Model ZEO6582 is the '76 Edgemont and ZEO6584 is the 1977 other
(excluding Transmodes)

Dave; Thanks for the confirmation that I do indeed have twin beds in the
back of my '77 Kingsley. I was beginning to think that I was having
another senior moment.
