Just broke the turn signal lever">*&*%^. I have the wheel off but am
unable to remove
a plastic cover to get to the lever. Does anyone have any idea if I
have to replace the whole signal assym. or just the lever. Any help
dismantling this would be appreciated

Thanks Phil

I do not have an answer to your problem, but while we are into working
on the turn signal lever, can someone give suggestions on how to
incorporate the dimmer switch with the turn signal lever. I do find it
somehow difficult to locate the foot switch on the raised floorboard
section.

All we need is for someone to jump in here and share with us which
steering column they used to replace the stock GMC unit from the
knuckle to the wheel. I have seen such a replacement in a GMC and it
has bugged me ever since.
