Hi

I have a question from a GMCer, he has a Turbo city TBI and has a knock at
2500 RPM. Turbocity cannot seem to get the knock to stop and the base
advance is less than 6 deg...

Anyone have experience with this ??

Gene,

The easiest way to see what's going on would be to hook up a professional
scan tool, and have a passenger watch the "live data" while driving at 2500
RPM. Does the coach have the EST setup? If it does, the scanner should even
display spark advance. Ask the independent shops in your area, I'm sure
someone has a SnapOn MT2500 or a similar scanner.

I tried one of those on my Howell and had hard time keeping it locked in...

These are not really adjustable, so we need to see if anyone else is having
a problem.

I think they changed that, but the knock still occures at about 2500 rpm.
It is ok at other rpm so must be something in the control system.

yes they control the spark.

I just wonder where all the turbo city users are ??
