Trucharge bargain

The original bargain hunter, Julie, found that West Marine has
Truecharge 40 remote display panels on clearance for $9.99! It is
identical electronically to the Statpower with West Marine graphics. It
looks as if Statpower made the West brand chargers. I bought two,
thinking I can use it in the killer dash of the future in conjunction
with a switch to change between bulkhead and dash. I happen to have a
4PDT 12 volt relay left over from another project. A call or E-mail
to their catalog house might do the trick also. If you can't get hold of
one, there are two left at my local West Marine, I could ship to you at
cost plus shipping.

Statpower TC 40 was $201.00 refurbished direct from Statpower web site.

If it does have that strange device, at least you know who to call
first--Henry Davis.{:>) Did check out West Marine site and that item is not
on sale online. You can pay $30 for it online.

Hopefully my Statpower 40 will not be equiped with the optional automatic
detonation device!

The panel is $24.00 US$ on the website. I found three at my local store
which were Statpower manufactured but carried West Marine lables for $9.44
each. I kept one for myself and sent the others to two Chucks who are net
participants. I will keep my eyes out for more as there are three West
Marine stores within 10 minutes of my work. I actually think the West
Marine units look better. The statpower purple doesnt go with my decor.
