Heh Folks,
As resourcefull as this group is I can't believe you pay retail for
Filters!!
Auto Zone,Kmart,Sam's,all carry "A"movers,IE.Chevy PF25,Ford PF2,BOP PF24.
Not many carry 1 Transmission Filter which is maybe a "C/D/or even a
W"mover.
Advice hang out at the local parts store,buy what you can ,when you can,and
they will cut you some slack on slow moving but to us VITAL parts. Example
TF169 OEM Tranny Filter cost in Sebring,F.L.A. $ 18.02+$1.26 Sales Tax,Total
$19.26/Ret.$32.46
Next rally in the East,let me know and I will bring as many as Jim's Jimmy
will hold.

Jim,
Yup, I just dropped by Chuch K.'s house and got a HASTINGS filter kit from
him that he keeps in stock. It is the copper tube gem that I was looking
for. $20 included tax. I'll take those $27-$29 (IE. FRAM, etc) rejects back
this week for a refund. I think if people tried the FRAM filters just once
they would buy the good ones at the rally's like hot cakes! I think I'll get
a spare one!
