Before my first long trip I did the tranny vent mod. I popped the cap off the
tranny vent using an open end wrench, carefully prying it off.
You are left with a little stub. I had an old set of spark plug wires, so I
pulled the cap off the distributor end. The end that normally slips over the
distributor fit snuggly over the tranny vent stub. The other end fit snuggly in
5/16 metal tubing. I used a short piece of 5/16 tubing then into fuel hose. I
ran this fuel hose into an old radiator expansion plastic tank I mounted behind
the drivers side wheel well. Used hose clamps to keep everything from popping
off. Only 1500 miles, but so far so good.

ps - still having a hard time finding a rec/dryer. I guess any style should
work, just a matter of mounting.
