I am in the market for an inexpensive tow bar to pull my Tracker. I
have the mounting plate (not yet installed). Does anyone have any
suggestions?

I did email Demco and they have refurbished Aluminator and Excalibar tow
bars for 1/2 list price.

Towing world also has an assortment of refurbished/discontinued hitches
as well as a swap page with classified listings of tow hitches and
accessories.

Before I make the leap. Any more suggestions?

Is the above something I should add to GMC Mart?

Ron,
I tow a 91 GEO Tracker and I use a Reese tow bar that I paid $110 from
JC Whitney (PN18NV8936X) and I also made my mounts for the toad which
bolt to the frame. Cheap easy solution, but as you are aware the price
can vary on how many extras that you need to buy and what brand you
want. You can drop $500 easy but the choice is yours.
