Only a mere 800 lbs of torque? A few years past I was working as a
mechanic for Michigan brand heavy equipment. The center bolt on their
articulating front end loader had to be tightened to 2,000 lbs. Of
course we cheated a little....we put two guys on a four foot long 1"
drive torque wrench and pulled like a couple of mules.
