This is a FWIW... In younger days, I know for a fact you could get a '70
Toronado to peg the speedo and still have room to keep going. Perhaps we
could have someone in Montana test that for us.
Don't know how tall the final drive was in that one, but... It still drove
pretty good too. I don't recall if the cruise would engage at that speed.
Don't you think that would be important?
