The Tracker seems to be one of the Toads of choice. I am considering
trading in the 93 Suburban with 120,000 miles on it and getting one for
commuting/towing. I slso get a good deal because of my GM employee
brother. My payments on a base 2dr convertible Tracker would only be
$160/month with virtually nothing down!

1) Is this a good choice?
2) Will my bumper mount hitch be strong enough or do I need a frame
mount hithch?
3) Is there anything besides a tow bar and wiring harness that I need?

I think that the monthly savings in gas over my Suburban should make the
payments on the Tracker. The thing gets such bad mileage, I am
considering commuting inteh GMC!

I don't know much about trackers, but several years back, when both of our
cars were down, I did use the GMC for commuting. It was GREAT!!

I kept my lunch in the fridge, had my own kitchen to heat it up. I could
take a little nap. I loved it. I was actually sad when my car was fixed! I
would HIGHLY recommend it!

I also think the regular use was good for the coach, as it usually sits
until we plan a trip.

They already have threatened to charge me for two parking spaces with the
Suburban, I am sure they would try to charge me for 4. Besides, the parking
garage only has a 6'6" clearance. I could put it in the parking space
reserved for our School Bus, but I don;t know where it would go.

Ron,
The Tracker seems to be a good choice. I have one that I tow. You must
have one with 4 wheel drive to tow 4 wheels down. I wouldn't use a bumper
hitch. Check Gene's site for some good info on it.
