There is a tire size comparison chart at www.dsm.org/tools/tiresize.htm.
I addition there are several different speedometer gears which you might
want to check out. I have been told that the stock gear is 31
tooth/ivory (#403417), there is also a 30 tooth/blue (#561035) which is
a 3.2% difference & a 29 tooth/green (#403999) which is a 6.5% change
from the original. You can do a measured highway check to determine how
far off you speed is if you set the cruise control and use a stop watch.

It was pointed out to me that me tires are not standard
(9.50x16.5). Would
this situation cause an error in my speedometer reading, on the
low side of
reality. I thought the 9.50 was the width of the tread?? Any
help will be
appreciated. Larry Nelson, Palm Beach 75
