There was a LP gas line that was on the bottom side of our 78 GMC that I took apart. Well. I assumed that there shouldn't be a problem with a leak. As it didn't leak before. When I put that same fitting back together. A fair assumption I thought. I was wrong with this one. I sprayed the leak detection solution on that fitting. After about 6 minutes. ( GIVE IT TIME ) I saw very small bubbles. Tightened it even more. Then sprayed. Still bubbles. I ended up having to re-flair the copper tubing. It's not common to have this happen. Just don't think that the fitting will be leak free. Just because you think that you got the fitting TIGHT. As a note. If you LP two stage regulator is more the 15 years old. Replace it with another two stage. NOT a single stage. Jim K at Applied GMC has the correct regulator. Bob Dunahugh
