Hi!
I've been following the thread concerning the old (Thetford, as I
recall) Thermasan units. I've seen them on many motorhomes of the
approximate same vintage as our beloved (?!) GMCs - when new, that is.
Yes, I actually remember that far back... Although there were quite a
few installed, it seems to me that after some time, many of them were
either disconnected or out-and-out removed from the coaches.
Do any of my fellow owners here have experience with the Thermasan?
It theory, it seems like a pretty good idea, and I recall reading a
spec. sheet on it a number of years ago that made me believe that it
had been well designed. Yes, yes, I know that you can't believe
everything you read, but Thetford did seem to have covered a lot of
the details, and their original warranty was not bad, either. (Two
years, as I recall.)
What were the problems with the unit?
