The hunt is still on. I have gleaned enough from this group that I don't
think I would be happy with one GMC made specially for me right now.
There's bound to be something they didn't put on it or was the wrong
size.{:>) On the serious side, I have just retired and my co-pilot to be,
SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) has assigned priority #1 to a new house in a
new area. Fortunately, this list just happens to have it's own real estate
agent in the area of our planned location. He is actively searching for a
house for us. Well, really, he's at a Nascar race this weekend, Dave, I
think I know where all those unregistered GMC's are. They're in my notes of
for sale GMC's. As I continue my search, my ideas on what I need/want have
changed due to what I have taken from you folks. I had ruled out a junker
at first, but now not so sure due to wanting to put my "toys" in one
regardless. Might as well put them in one that's been cleaned out. Will
not get into frame replacement no matter how several guys will try to
convince me how much "fun" it is to replace. If the right one hits me, I'm
afraid it will come before the house, but not delay the house hunt.

That's the way it is.

Roger... If you can attend a local rally, or come to the one in Albuq, you can
see lots of coaches and get some first hand experiences on what is good and
bad, and what to look for. Good luck.

Al. I will be there. By GMC or SOB. Ideally it is easier to get parts across the
border attached to the coach. Maybe I can get the bathroom and galley in by that
time. Work work work. Hi-ho hi-ho. Sure would like to meet everyone. I was there
to pick up my coach, so it knows the way. Darren

After Forest City you'll have a chance to inspect a reasonably
decent ' 77 Kingsley. If you have a house by then, we'll be visiting
you. If you don't, you can visit us :-)

Mike,
Reckon you can make it to the East Tennessee area after Forest City?
Hopefully, you can just follow me there.{:>) We are looking earnestly for
something. If not by then, we can meet in Nashville. We know where all the
good places to eat and shop are around there. Did find one house with an
RV hookup already there. A definite plus, wouldn't you say?
