Pahrump? Where in the heck is Pahrump and why should I go there?
The GMC Western States Spring 2017 Rally will be held there from April 20th through the 24th with a registration deadline of April 1st. It is close
to both Las Vegas and to Death Valley National Park. You can gamble, sight-see, and learn more about the GMC than you thought you needed to know. As
we all know, owning and driving a Classic GMC Motorhome is sight-seeing, gambling, and constant learning.
We will have seminars on remodeling the interior of a coach, fuel injection, carburetors, transmission pressure mysteries, an update on "Frank's
Folly" (a '73 restoration project), and new products from Applied GMC: an electronic steering damper, electronically controlled fan clutch, and the
new Digi-Panel Instruments. In addition to seminars, the informal discussions are a great opportunity to learn about how to do whatever you need to do
on your GMC.
On the non-technical side we will have a self-defense class, make some "Easy Appetizers", explore "My Favorite Book" and have a book exchange and a
Dollar Sale. We will also have some great crafts, a Ladies' Coffee/Tea, and a fashion show.
But the best reason to attend is to meet other GMCers, visit their coaches, compare GMC stories, and learn more about the GMC. There is a reason some
of us wear our "Help, I am talking about my GMC and I can't stop!" tee-shirts. If you want to meet some of the nicest people ever and talk about your
favorite subject for 4 days, then this is the event for you.
Please sign up by April 1st if you have not done so already. The registration form is on the web site.
