The clearance lights on the front still do not work.

Looks like what I really need is to buy a good wiring diagram or the correct
manuals for my 1974/75 GMC Eleganza SE TZE064V101146.

I have the following manuals that I would be willing to 'wheel-and-deal' on
in order to get the ones that I really need.

X-7725 Cinnabar GMC Motorhome Maintenance Manual 1977 & 1978 Supplement,
ZE06581, ZE06584 & Transmode ZE0083, ZE06583

X-7725A Cinnabar GMC Motorhome Maintenance Manual 1977 & 1978, ZE06581 &
Transmode ZE0083, ZE06583

X-7725B Cinnabar GMC Motorhome Maintenance Manual 1977 & 1978, ZE06581 &
Transmode ZE0083, ZE06583

X-7725 GMC Motorhome Maintenance Manual 1975 & 1976, ZE06581 & Transmode
ZE0083, ZE06583 (TZE166V100878)

X-7725 GMC Motorhome Maintenance Manual 1975 & 1976 Supplement, ZE06581,
ZE06582 & Transmode ZE0083, ZE06583 (TZE336V100880 23', TZE366V100883 26')

Am I correct in assuming that I do not have the manual that I need for
TZE064V101146? All I know is that I could not locate the wire going to the
front clearance lights and the manuals that I have are no help.

The first three Cinnabar manuals came with my 1977 Coca-Cola and the last
two manuals came with my 77 Eleganza that was destroyed when I hit a horse.

I followed some of the suggestions that I got from the list. Using a length
of 16 gage wire, alligator clips, and a volt/ohm meter, I determined the
following:

1. After removing one front clearance light cover and bulb, I checked for 12
vdc and found none.
2. I checked to see if I had a ground and found same.

So, I am getting no juice to the front clearance lights. I removed the cover
under the steering wheel to expose the wiring. I was not able to locate the
wire that supplied power to the front clearance lights. I wanted to apply
power to it to see if the lights would work and trace it back from that
point.

The 1975 manual states: 'Dome lights, headlamps, and front clearance lights
are fed through an (8) way multiple connector located under the instrument
panel.' I believe that the wire I am looking for is a white with double red
stripe. This is the wire and connector that I cannot locate.

Is this connector located on the right or near the center near the radio?

Tom,
Got out the service manaul for my 74. 16white Dbl Blk
Stripe is your ground wire. 18 Red Dbl White Stripe
runs to the light switch, From switch 16 Orange runs to 20amp fuse
on the Battery Bus. 16 Orange also runs to lf hand and
Rt hand Dome light. These get power before the light
switch. This Switch also turns on the tail lights. It
looks like We could trace this out by process of
elimination.
Maybe this helps,
