Two weeks ago, Rick Staples (Louisville Co ) invited me over to his
house for a tour of his 75 Eleganza. I do not own a GMC motorhome and
have just been a lurker on the list, learning about what has turned into
my dream machine. What a great time I had. Rick and his wife Ruth
are a real class act! I'm a stranger to them and they treated me like
and old friend.
Anyway, you should see the workmanship he puts into his rig.
Every two seconds the phrase "what a great idea" popped into my
head, followed by, "now THAT has got to be factory installed". No, all
of Rick's mods just look factory installed and in many cases, better
thought
out. In my opinion, this is a man whose answers to your questions,
you can trust.
I am going to sign off of this list soon because a GMC is not
in my near future,( I definitely will own one sometime in the future) and
you guys are just too prolific, and I just get too jealous of what you
all have.
I will sign back on when the time gets closer to my actually owning one.
(I will continue to scour the Hot Wheels displays for a good luck charm).
