I posted some "before" pictures of our frame off. They are on a very
simple web page at http://smsgmc.webjump.com . The page just has
thumbnails and larger pictures if you click on the thumbnails. There are
no descriptions. I wanted to try out the webjump service to see if it is
worth putting more effort into the page. It is a free service which gives
you 25 megs of space but puts a banner at the top of each page. I'm hoping
you all will give me some feedback on the loading times and how well the
server works. I don't want to waste my time making a real page on this
webjump service if it is going to be too slow to use or doesn't work well.
Unfortunately, the digital camera did not work as well as I would have
liked. The outside pics are pretty good and show the rear frame being
pulled out the back and the front frame and some misc. pieces after they
were sandblasted. The inside pictures of the front frame/engine/etc. did
not have enough light, so they came out rather poor. Once I noticed the
problems, I started taking pics with a regular camera, and those pics came
out very well. They are mostly "during" and "after" pics, so I really
didn't get any good before shots
. Hopefully I will get a scanner soon
so I can get them up on the page as well.
Thanks,
Zak
