Can somebody tell me what you have to do to remove the sun visors? I'm
talking about the little ones inside the coach. I have got the plastic
cap over driver and pass seat completely loose and ready to remove
except for whatever is holding the sun visors up. I thought that would
be the easy part and saved it for last. theres a nut where the visor
arm dissapears up into the cap and I've
reefed on that til I thought something would break but can only get
about 1 full turn and thats it.
Nothing seems to be loosening up and I've tried both sides and both
directions. what am I missing?
TIA

I remember reading somewhere that the best way to detach these things was to
cut them off flush with the headliner!!!!! Just kidding. Try lowering the
visor and turn it to the side window. This should take a good part of the
tension off the spring. At least it worked for me. Darren

Bill, what you are doing sounds like the same thing I did to get the
visors out. The tension springs were very strong but I remember a
little WD-40 seemed to help loosen the nut up. I don't remember the the
nut being left-handed threads, just very hard to turn at first. Maybe
some one else will have another susggestion.
