GMCers,
I bought my G159's from Dapper tire here in San Diego. They wholesale
to dealers only but make some exceptions. Mine were the original 16.5,
not the 16's so many of you use with the Alcoas.(Envy)
He did everything possible to get the price down below his cost because
I let his use one of my classic cars in a promotional grand opening a
few years ago. He has a long memory. He even fixed me up with
Bilsteins for $52 each. That deal was once in a lifetime. I can talk
to him on his requirements for a group purchase but I tend to think that
shipping would kill any price break.
Great guy do to business with, even stayed open late on a Saturday so
I could get there to pick them up. He also didn't charge me for the
tires until I had mounted them (they don't mount) & could see if they
fit.
