My quest to get the original back on is failing.
The bracket that is normally welded on to the frame crossmember is gone on
mine. Guess it was cut off when the Safety Stabilizer was installed.
I'm not crazy about the idea of welding it back on. Perhaps a 'strap' can be
built and attached around the cross member with bolts. What would help is a
closeup pic. I think I can tell where the bracket used to be but no idea
what it looks like. I can only assume it's a simple U-shape for the
stabilizer end to bolt on to.
Perhaps I'm better off to go back to another Safety Stabilizer.
