From what I remember here that is the go to grease for all things requiring
grease.

I've always used what's in my grease gun. And grease it every 12,000 miles when I change my transmission fluid. As there isn't much movement there. Plus it has the proper new boots on it. Some never got greased. And some how survived. Possibly because the slip joint was locked up from never getting greased. If anyone finds that their slip joint is locked up. A lot are. DO NOT try to take it apart without talking about it here. The plastic coating can get destroyed. There are tricks to getting it apart without making it into junk first. Bob Dunahugh

Thanks Rick!
Thinking back to the days of the Adobe.
Miss Smokey has been resting with her gas tanks out
for several years now. I actually plan on getting her back
on the road before my mechanic retires!
