Steering Gearbox

Has anyone found a replacement steering gearbox? I have called a
Chevy parts house and a few auto parts stores, they do not have a
cross on the P/N. Really would like to find one under $500 that the
speciality houses sell, although I may be glad it exists there.

Bill,
No problem, the steering box is available from any supplier the carries A1
Cardon rebuilt units. The part # is 277519. You will have to supply a
core or pay big bucks.

I would suggest locating the box, then pull out your and take it down when
you pick up the new one and check to be sure everything looks the same.
