Greetings All,

As a new owner I have watched the forum with interest. I wondered if
anyone has replaced or rebuilt their steering boxes? My '78 Royale
wanders badly even on smooth pavement and an old Cinnebar newsletter
highlighted a specific wear point
sometimes missed on rebuilt boxes...any experience solving this? BTW we
are on new Alcoas and Michelin LRE's.

Many thanks,

David Graves

There is some info up on my web page on this....

Most have replaced them with new ones from
cinnabar
caspro
napa

Watch out for this, several had problems with the ones from Napa and there
was a huge thread on this to determine the reasons. I do not have the
results , I decided I would pay the price if needed one just so I would not
have to think about it.

I put in a caspro because Ed Osburn, who is a expert, said it had a better turn
geometry. Turn a little, and it turns a little, go more and it goes much more.
That's what I know.
