steering box adj

Does someone have instructions posted any where for the fine
adjustment of an original steering box?
There's a little 'play' in the wheel, which seems to end inside the
box.

I know I saw this in the past, but don't have my printed copy with
me.

You replied so fast , I had to look over my shoulder to see if you
were standing there

I have the manual, but I thought someone had come up with a fool
proof method of adjusting it it the vehicle....memory isn't what it
should be .
