I have been told that you can't depend on this. I bought a 1970 F Block
which was original and it turned out not to be true and I am told that
only about 1-2% of the 455s had them. The best shot seems to be the 68
Tornado motor regardless of block code. With all the boaters out there
buying up these they are next to impossible to find. Next best is the
nodular crank (special cast crank) which has an N on the rear
counterweight. I have resorted to these because they are almost as
strong and more plentiful.
