Thanks Tom for all the good info.

I guess either Coachmen or a previous owner must have modified some
circuitry in my Royale. Instead of plugging the power cord into the
generator when not on shore power, it simply gets fed back into its storage
compartment under the closet floor.

When I said I had to flip some switches, I should have been more specific.
My coach has an electrical panel under the curbside twin bed. It has two
switches interconnected by a rocker mechanism. When switching between Onan
and shore power, one switch is turned off, forcing the other to be turned
on. The rocker mechanism prevents both switches from being in the same
position. One on/off setting is for generator power, and the other is for
shore power. Remembering to to change these switches is a pain. Is there an
easy way I can automate this function as was the case in my previous SOB's?

TIA
