specific tire question

The tire debate was quite entertaining (and informative). I, however have
a specific question that I am not sure was covered.

I have Michelin XPS RIB 8.75 X 16.5. They are E rated tires with a max
load of 2680 lbs. at 75 PSI. Please note I have a 23' not a 26' GMC.

Since nowhere the tires say 80 lbs. I am not sure what my inflation should
be.

What are your suggestions?

Contact your Michelin dealer for an inflation chart. Make certain that he
understands that the application is for a tandem axle light truck. The
chart will list recommended inflation pressures for specific vehicle
weights. Or you can accept Wes Caughlin's and GM's answers that say inflate
to the maximum tire pressure which for LRE tires is 80PSI I believe (I'm
not certain of Michelins).
