Inquiring minds want to know...
Is there a similar story for the GMC that "was clocked at 97 mph on a dry
lake bed?" It would be nice to hear 'the rest of the story', My guess is
that the GMC was probably bone stock with a sticky cruise control
transducer, and the driver didn't know he needed to adjust the cruise cut
off switch under the dash!
