> No it doesn't. The thermosan doesn't dump anything on the ground (maybe a
>miniscule bit of ash...). It only injects when 1) the engine is warmed
up, 2)
>the coach is exceeding 35 mph, 3) the engine is under load (low vacuum), and
>4) the exhaust is good and hot, over 1,000 deg.F IIRC. This vaporizes the
>water, kills ALL the bacteria and viruses, and burns the carbon compounds
>(human and cosmetic) into CO2, H2O, and such.

system
>was its popularity with illegal waste disposers. Shady types would send a
>tank truck full of PCBs out, equipped with a Thermo-san system, for a long
>ride. Good as the T-S was, it wasn't designed for THAT. This lead to EPA
>pressure to discontinue.
> Another factor, which I have mentioned before, is the incompatibility of
>the Thermo-san with catalytic converters and oxygen sensors.

cases in

>emissions regs for its year of manufacture, you're OK, and not required to
>meet 1998 standards. Since the T-S met its contemporary standards, it should
>be legal on its original model coach.
