My coach just developed a short that blows the 20-amp fuse labled "Back-up
lights / Cruise Control". It happened right as I shifted into reverse, backed up
10' then shifted into forward. I had not been using the cruise control. This has
me wondering if there could be a problem with the Neutral Start Switch. Does
anyone know if these have been known to fail?

Sure would appreciate the collective wisdom of the List on this one.

Thanks,

Richard

Sounds to me like you got your reverse light wire chafed and laying against
a grounded frame member or the transmission. You might try
pulling/wiggling the harness to try to reposition the bare spot. This
would only prove that this was the problem. You'll still have to either
run a new wire or find the spot and insulate it. It could be a bugger to find.

Good luck

Oh, great. I better put on my detective cap.
